My sister said this lady had to see an eye surgeon to remove her contacts, her one eye was so infected, she was told she was lucky she didn’t lose it. So, we have the disgusting mix of not removing makeup (or only doing it when they wash their hair 🤢) Then keeping contacts in several days past the time they’re supposed to change them. I was talking to my sister about this post/thread earlier and she told me about a girl that continually wore her eye makeup, which we all know about…but one in particular wanted to save $$, so she wore her contacts waaay past the date she should have changed them. I feel like they need to teach that in school or something. I know I mentioned it earlier, about the bacteria and tiny bugs, etc that fester in eye lashes, after wearing mascara…and other makeup. Other than it all being so blatantly yucky, I can imagine her eyes love it when she gets a bit of run off shampoo in them. OMG! I wish I could recreate my reaction so you could hear it. I’m really glad you mentioned this! I feel dumb, but that my own fault! I have to go to Shoppers this week, I will take a closer look for NYX. It’s just cheeky to leave behind loyal customers that bought their products for years at the drug store like that.
I assume that the change in sales model worked for them, considering they are on Robson. That is really annoying that they alienated their establishment clientele to move into a higher price point. I completely understand why you feel that way about NYX. So, don’t shop Robson like I used to, but I’d love to! I think the last time I spent a considerable amount of time downtown was when we had the Olympics! I got really sick in 2009, then became partially disabled. More specifically I am in North Vancouver. Secondly, I need to hop on a seabus and shop Robson!!! For SM sake, I say i am in Vancouver. Having said all that, it’s not like I’ve been desperately seeking out NYX in the past several years. I live close to the Superstore, so I do my shopping there most of the time.
